Application for visiting THE IMPERIAL PALACE IN TOKYO can be made online.

If the visit month selection screen does not appear, please check your browser’s cookie settings.
You cannot change your application once it has been submitted. Additionally, it is canceled when there is no presentation of members' list within seven days after an application.
1. Applications may be submitted by persons aged 18 or older. If companions under 18 are included, the applicant must be an adult (18 or older).
2. Your application will not be confirmed until the completion screen is displayed. If the capacity is filled by other applicants while you are entering information, your application cannot be accepted.
3. Tours do not include entry into the interior of buildings.
Policy Notice
In the reception and management of visits, personal information will be used for the following purposes:
- To process visit applications
- To verify identity upon entry to the visit location
- To confirm safety and provide evacuation guidance in the event of accidents, disasters, or other emergencies
- To share and report information with related organizations as necessary (such as contracted operators responsible for visit management, facility managers at the visit location, fire and police departments)
- To use for statistical analysis as a reference for improving future visit management (statistical information will not include any personally identifiable information).
- The Imperial Household Agency implements appropriate security measures to prevent personal information from being lost, damaged, or leaked, and to ensure its proper management.
